EWMSM001 - Determination of one-time customer for disaggregation SD/CS

Functionality

This enhancement is used in the disaggregation of Sales and Distribution and Customer Service, to determine one-time customers for creation of service orders in the SAP Standard System. This enhancement is obligatory and without it you cannot continue the process to determine one-time customers.

You must create a service order in an SAP Standard System before you can create a sales order in an IS-U System for a one-time customer. The customer data is not recognised in the logistics system so it is extracted from the sales order in the IS-U System, and then entered as one-time customer data for the new service order to be created in the SAP Standard System.

Notes

The logistics-relevant steps, such as service order and resource planning, are executed in the SAP Standard System. Installation of the industry-specific Utilities (IS-U) System is optional.
