Cause . . . . . : When making an ISDN switched connection, the system was unable to connect line &23 to a Network Interface description found in the switched Network Interface list (SWTNWILST). The most common reason for this error is that none of the network interfaces in the list were in a proper state to call out.
Recovery . . . :
Use the Work with Network Interface Description (WRKNWID) command to display the switched network interface list (SWTNWILST parameter) for line &23. If there are no network interfaces configured in the switched network interface list, add the name of the network interface to be used for the call.
If there are network interface descriptions configured in the switched network interface list, press F14 to run problem analysis. This will display a list of the network interfaces that were checked by the system when attempting to complete the call. Each network interface will have a corresponding failure cause as to why it was not selected.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel the dial attempt to the remote system and inform all applications that the dial attempt has been canceled.
N -- Retry the dial attempt to the network. The system may choose a different line description to complete the call.
R -- Retry the dial operation to the network using line &23.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
