Call request on line &23 to controller &24 failed. Remote modem power may be off. (C R)
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : The network found that the called station was not ready to receive. The probable causes are:
-- A network problem.
-- The remote modem power is turned off.
-- The wrong number was called.
Recovery . . . : Do one or more of the following:
-- Verify that the network is operational.
-- Have the remote operator turn the remote modem power on.
-- Verify that the connection number (CNNNBR parameter) in the controller description is correct.
Then do one of the following:
-- Type C to cancel recovery and to inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
-- Type R to try the operation one more time.
If the problem continues, press F14 to run problem analysis.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel.
R -- Try again one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: The system received a call process signal (CPS) 47 from the X.21 network during a calling sequence, which means that the remote DCE power is not on.
