Message : CPD4076
Logical block identifier not correct.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The user exit program &5 in library &6 specified &10 for logical block identifier for tape processing exit type &7 and library device exit type &11 at character position &8 within the control value structure. The condition code of &9 indicates why the logical block identifier is not correct.
1 -- The specific logical block identifier does not exist on this tape volume.
2 -- Device &4 does not support tape positioning by logical block identifier.
3 -- Tape positioning by logical block identifier is not supported for read backward operations.
4 -- Tape positioning by logical block identifier is only supported for standard label tapes that are not opened for bypass label processing.
5 -- Tape positioning by logical block identifier is not supported for a file opened for output and only supported for a file opened for input at exit point 2.
6 -- The file at the specific logical block identifier does not match the expected file.
7 -- Tape positioning by logical block identifier may not be specified for the current tape format.
8 -- The file sequence number was not specified in the device file.
9 -- The file sequence number in the device file does not match the file sequence number found on the tape volume.
10 -- The device was unable to determine the current position.
Recovery . . . : The logical block identifier is ignored and the file will be found using the file sequence number specified in the tape file. Specify the correct control value information before tape positioning by logical block identifier is attempted. One of the following may prevent this error from recurring.
1 -- Specify the correct logical block identifier or do not specify a logical block identifier.
2 -- Use a device that supports logical block identifiers.
3,4,5 -- Do not specify a logical block identifier.
6 -- Specify the correct file identifier.
7 -- Use a tape format that supports logical block identifiers.
8 -- Specify the specific file sequence number.
9 -- Specify the correct file sequence number.
10 -- The device has already determined correct positioning.
