Message : CPD435A
Sort sequence not valid with UCS-2 implicit conversion.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A sort sequence cannot be applied to item number &1 in specification &2 due to an implicit conversion between CCSID &5 and CCSID &6. Specification types are as follows:
1 -- Record selection.
2 -- Group by selection.
3 -- Join.
4 -- MIN or MAX function.
5 -- Set operator other than UNION ALL.
If this is the MIN or MAX function, the derived field is &3 in query format &4.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following and try your request again:
-- Change the indicated specification so that one of the operands is explicitly converted from or to the UCS-2 CCSID. For example, in SQL, use either the VARCHAR or VARGRAPHIC function, or when using the OPNQRYF CL command, specify the MAPFLD parameter. To have the sort sequence applied, explicitly convert from CCSID &5 to CCSID &6. To not have the sort sequence applied, explicitly convert from CCSID &6 to CCSID &5.
-- Do not specify a sort sequence for this query.
See the i5/OS globalization topic collection in the Programming category in the IBM i Information Center, http://www.ibm.com/systems/i/infocenter/, for more information on working with CCSIDs and a sort sequence.
