Message : CPD4374
Field &1 and value &3 not compatible. Reason &5.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The attributes of variable field &1 in query record format &2 are not compatible with the attributes of value number &3. The value is &4. The reason code is &5. The reason codes and their meanings follow:
-- The field is DBCS-only and the value is not a DBCS type, or the field is date, time, or timestamp and the value is numeric or DBCS-only, or the field is numeric and the value is date, time, timestamp, non-Unicode graphic, or DBCS-only, or the field and value are not both a binary string.
-- The variable field is too small to hold the value. If the field is of type character, the length of the value must not exceed 32,766 bytes. If the field is of type variable length character, the length of the value must not exceed 32,740 bytes.
-- Floating-point overflow.
-- Floating-point underflow.
-- Floating-point conversion not valid.
-- Floating-point result not exact.
-- Value contains numeric data that is not valid.
-- Value contains double-byte character data that is not valid.
-- Value's CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) &6 is not a recognized CCSID or is not compatible with CCSID &7 of field &1.
-- Value's CCSID &6 requires that the value be converted to CCSID &7 of field &1. However, the value cannot be converted because it contains double-byte or invalid UTF-8 character data.
-- The value for the variable field is not a valid date, time, or timestamp.
-- Value's CCSID &6 requires that the value be converted to CCSID &7 of field &1. However, the resulting length of the value after conversion would be longer than the defined length of the variable field.
-- The syntax of the value for the variable field is not valid for a date, time, or timestamp.
-- Value or length is not valid for an escape character.
-- Value is not a valid wildcard pattern with the escape character specified.
-- Floating-point *NAN special value not valid.
-- The result of applying the sort sequence table to the value is greater than 32,742 bytes.
-- The result of applying the sort sequence table to the LOB value is greater than 2,147,483,647 bytes.
-- The field is XML and the value is not a compatible string or the field is not XML and the value is XML.
-- The external encoding CCSID &6 of the XML value does not match the internal encoding CCSID &7 from the XML declaration or the XML declaration is not valid.
-- An implicit parse of the XML value failed.
Recovery . . . : For reason codes 17 and 18: International Components of Unicode (ICU) sort sequence table results are longer than the fields they operate on. If the field can contain SBCS data, the result of applying the sort sequence table can be 6 times the length of the field. Applying this sort sequence table to a DBCS field can be 3 times the length of the field. Specify the correct value for the variable field and try your request again.
