Cause . . . . . : Break field selections in the Query for iSeries query definition analyzed include a field, &6, that is not selected as a sort field. If output records are not sorted on this field, records intended to be in the same group may be in separate groups in the output. If the query is suitably defined for using the SQL GROUP BY function to omit detail records, the output groups will be sorted on this field even though it was not selected as a sort field.
Recovery . . . : Use the WRKQRY command to change the Query for iSeries query definition. Specify a sort priority for field &6. If you want some other field to control record or record group order, specify a lower number as the sort priority for that field. For summary only output, make sure this other field is also a break field.
