Message : QWM2324
Previously defaulted field selections used.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : No fields were specifically selected in the Query for iSeries query definition analyzed. Query for iSeries selected all fields by default in display/print sequence when building the selection table saved in the definition, and left an indication in the definition that default field selection should be reapplied if the definition level of a selected file changes or if the data is to be saved in a database file. Both analyze and conversion processing ignore this indication and use the previously defaulted field selections. This means the query management query derived from any Query for iSeries query definition will contain a list of fields which matches the list of columns in the form derived from the same definition, but this list may no longer match the field table entries that Query for iSeries run-time would build from the file selections.
Recovery . . . :
(1) If the definition of any of the selected files has changed since the Query for iSeries query definition was saved, and if the change affected field sequence, use the WRKQRY command to save the definition again. This rebuilds the field selection table even if no explicit changes are entered.
(2) If there is a possibility that more fields have been selected by default than you really need in a printed report and you do not want parallel printed reports to be produced because of the unneeded fields, use the WRKQRY command to select fields with a total formatted width less than the printer page width.
(3) If field sequence must be preserved for database file output compatibility, use the WRKQRY command to select and sequence the fields.
(4) If dynamic field selection is more important than ensuring that the derived form will never have to be altered to match the derived query, use the STRSEU command to replace the field selection list in the exported SQL SELECT statement.
