Cause . . . . . : The Query for iSeries query definition analyzed contains specifications indicating that the definition was intended to be run to produce summary only database file output. Query for iSeries uses a special layout including level and overflow indicator fields for the output file definition, and applies special rules such as ignoring "Omit summaries" choices when producing the output. Query management will use the information in this definition as though it was intended to produce displayed or printed summary only output.
Recovery . . . : Continue to use Query for iSeries when summary only database file output is to be added to a Query for iSeries created file, or when multiple levels of summary records are required.
If the converted query omits detail records, the summary only values from running the query can be saved in a new database file in a collection.
