/FLDQ/AD_CFG_RVW - Maintain settings to switch off the Address Reviewer screen

This activity allows you to control when to display the Address Reviewer screen, based on changes to an address's components.

Please read Data Service's documentation regarding the output field 'status_code' from the Data Quality transform Global Address Cleanse (GAC) to determine the entries required to suppress certain changes to an address.

The definitions of some terminology used in this activity:

City: A city, town, locality, or suburb.

Street Name: The (primary) street name description (typically a street name or PO box description).

Street Type: The type of (primary) street name. Some examples are rue, strasse, street, Ave, or Pl.

Street Number: The (range) number of valid addresses for a given (primary) street name. For example: 1-100 main street.

Unit Number: The number of the unit (e.g. apartment), such as 100 in "Apartment 100".

Unit Description: The unit description, such as "Apartment" or "Flat."

By default our product ships with one entry pre-configured. This is to suppress the Address Reviewer for an address where no corrections have occured.

1) Enter the two-digit country code that this entry applies to in the Country field.

Note: Leave the Country field blank (e.g. do not make an entry) to have this rule apply to all countries.

2) Press F4 on each of the other three fields and make the appropriate selections.

Note: Leaving a field blank is the same as selecting 'No significant difference between the input data and the corrected data.', which means no address corrections occured for those components listed.

1) To suppress the Address Reviewer screen for changes to the postal code for only US addresses, you would make the following entry:

Country: US

Country, Postcode, Region or City Corrections: CORRECTED POSTCODE.

2) To suppress the Address Reviewer screen for changes to postal code for all addresses, regardless of the country, you would make the following entry:

Country:

Country, Postcode, Region or City Corrections: CORRECTED POSTCODE.
