After Timberland had changed its companies in Asia and Europe over from DCW to an SAP platform in 2004, the next step was to integrate the parent company, located in Stratham, NH/USA. As a special feature, the Timberland Headquarters was to function as a shared service center for Canada and the Dominican Republic.

As a long-term partner of Timberland, consolut ensured the rapid and holistic migration of data from the predecessor system Infinium to SAP. consolut was also in charge of the Basis part of the project, i.e. the installation and support of the SAP system landscape.

In addition, Timberland required a global, transparent, role-based authorization concept in order to meet the growing security requirements faced by its system environment. System maintenance was to be easy. Thanks to its expertise and the consolut authorization tool, consolut was able to meet all these requirements.

All functions were implemented and training was provided on site.
