Funktionalität

this function checks the social-insurance-number (15-digits including the check-digit)

structure of the social-insurance-number

position 1,,,,sex ('1' masculine, '2' - feminine)

position 2-3,,,,year of birth

position 4-5,,,,month of birth

position 6-7,,,,departement, in which the insured person was born

position 8-10,,city/commune, in which the insured person was born

position 11-13,,ranking number

position 14-15,,check-digit

following checks will be done

• Sex

• Valid 1, 2 and 7, 8 for temporary social-insurance-numbers

• Must be ident with the sex of the insured person (patient or main-insured person), if it includes the value 1 or 2

• Year of birth

• Valid within 01 and 99

• Must be ident with the year of birth of the insured person (patient or main-insured person)

• Month of birth

• Valid within 01 and 99

• Must be ident with the month of birth of the insured person (patient or main-insured person)

• Departement and city/commune

• Special conversion for all persons, who were born on Corsica (2A = 19, 2B = 18)

• These 5-digits have to be customized with the table T5FPBS3B - code commune INSEE

• Check-digit

• Following formula is used

1. social-insurance-number MOD 97

2. 97 - result of (1)

check-digit has to be ident with the result of (2)
