The function module /SAPAPO/PROGNOSE is the main function module to run the forecasting algorithm. It is part of the software package /SAPAPO/SCMB_FORECAST which is embedded into the BW layer of SCM, software component SAP_BW. Before release SCM 5.0 the package was located in SCM basis layer.
The function module /SAPAPO/PROGNOSE can be called for 2 purposes: to calculate the expost forecast and to calculate the prognosis for the future periods.
