The result of string concatenation is a Pascal string.

Nachrichtenlangtext :

Cause . . . . . : A Pascal string is prefixed with a "ÖP". The string length is encoded in the string and it is not null terminated. A 'C' string is a null terminated string. The two are not compatible. Concatenation requires that both strings be of the same type.
