Cause . . . . . : One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- The environment may be electrically noisy.
-- The ISDN line quality may be poor.
-- Contact problems with the ISDN cable connectors.
-- The network equipment may have been ending some frames before they were completed.
Recovery . . . : You may choose to ignore this message if your network interface is operational. Refer to planning guides for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. If poor line quality is suspected, consult your local ISDN network provider to verify line quality. Verify that the cable is securely connected to the appropriate receptacles and that the cable is in good physical condition. You may change the frequency of occurrence of this message by adjusting the value of the ABORTS and THRESHOLD parameters, using the CHGNWIISDN command.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The following table shows the network interface (NWI) identifier, maximum rate of frames with abort indicators (errors per 15 minutes), the number of intervals that had an error rate above the guideline, and the date and time the maximum rate occurred.

The number of abnormally ended frames received that occurred during a specified time period exceeded the limit defined by the ABORTS value on the network interface description, and caused this message to be displayed.
