Technical description . . . . . . . . : The following table lists the pool identifier, suggested activity levels, the calculated average number of jobs waiting for an activity level and the interval that had the highest activity.

An appropriate activity level was estimated using the formula
Activity Level=1.9 X transactions per second X Average Response Time
(that is, 1.9 times the average number waiting). This allows for approximately 90% of the transactions to complete without ever having to wait for the activity level.
The formula assumes that sufficient storage is available to support the suggested activity level.
The activity level can be adjusted by changing the activity level value in the subsystem description that defines the pool.
