:T Increase time slice.

Nachrichtenlangtext :

Technical description . . . . . . . . : The following table lists the pool identifier, suggested time slice values, concurrently active interactive jobs and the interval that had the highest activity.
:I PFX2078
:T PFX207905
An appropriate time slice was estimated using the formula
Time_Slice = 3 x Average_CPU_Per_Transaction
If this is less than or equal to the current time slice in the pool, you can either make no change or increase the time slice by one second. By leaving the time slice unchanged, high cpu usage jobs will continue to suffer in favor of low cpu usage jobs. By increasing the time slice, you will decrease the response time for those jobs that are currently exceeding the time slice but at the expense of the other jobs in the same pool.
The time slice can be set in the CLASSes referred to in the SUBSYSTEM DESCRIPTION's ROUTING ENTRIES.
Setting system value QTSEPOOL to *BASE may help minimize the effect on interactive response time of other interactive jobs when one interactive job is performing a long running, cpu intensive function. When QTSEPOOL is set to *BASE, jobs that reach time slice end get moved to the *BASE storage pool. They will remain in the *BASE storage pool until they go into a long wait (waiting for user to enter data, for example). Moving the job to the *BASE pool may minimize a long running job's effect on other interactive jobs by removing it from further competition for main storage in the pool.
