Definition
The object is checked in CCMS for actions that administer the database on DB2/390.

1. Object category
The object category defines the processing environment of the administrator.
Possible values:
JCLJOB (all the JCL jobs defined in the system)
TSO_PASSWD (TSO password of any user)
ALT_SECQTY (ALTER on secondary quantity of a table/index space)
DB2_CATALG (DB2 catalog)
DB_HOST (database host)
2. Activity
The activity restricts the processing options of the administrator.
Possible values:
02 = change
06 = delete
16 = execute
33 = read
36 = extended maintenance
Example
Object category = JCLJOB
Activity = 02
With this authorization, the administrator may change JCL jobs of any user.
