ABENABAP_SYSTEM_GLOSRY - ABAP SYSTEM GLOSRY

ABAP system

Client-server system that implements an . It consists of:

• ABAP-specific components of the presentation layer, such as SAP GUI or web-based technologies.

• Application Server ABAP (AS ABAP)

• ABAP database schema of the standard AS ABAP database storing both system programs and system tables, as well as application programs and application tables.

The name of an ABAP system matches the system ID of its AS ABAP.
