Class for Generation Limits

The static method GET_VALUES from the CL_ABAP_GEN_LIMITS class returns the generation limits for an ABAP program (since Release 7.0, SP16 and Release 7.1).

The generation limits of an ABAP program are technical maximum values which must not be exceeded for a successful generation. The values affected include:

  • Number of variables
  • Jump distance
  • and so on.
