Purpose

In-application sequencing ensures the correct sequence for the processing of incoming messages on an application level. Whenever a missing message is detected for a new message, the new message is put into a waiting queue until the missing message arrives.

As soon as the missing message arrives reprocessing of the previously 'parked' message is re-triggered by means of a Remote Function Module triggered in a background unit (bgRFC).

As a prerequisite for this mechanism an RFC destination and an Inbound Destination for the bgRFC need to be defined.

This report creates these settings automatically.
