Title

Automatic filling of the default values in the AFS valuation view (material master).

Purpose

Up to release 2.5 it was not necessary to fill the material master fields "default grid value" or "default category" (AFS valuation view) for split valuated materials.

As of release 2.5B these fields are mandatory for the BOM explosion during the product costing (for split valuated materials and non-split valuated materials).

With this program you can automatically fill the fields without manual effort. It fills the default values of all material master records of a system (across all clients/plants) with the data of the first belonging preference SKU (table J_3AMADKA). For this the following prerequisites are valid:

  • The material must be an AFS material.
  • The material must be split valuated.
  • The default values in the AFS valuation view must be initial.

For split valuated materials the fields have a technical importance for the product costing. They are not relevant for the stock valuation.
