Title

AFS MRP / ATP horizons check report.

Purpose

This check report has two main purposes:

• Check the MRP/ATP customizing settings.

Customization settings have tremendous effect on the MRP and ATP results. If they are not properly maintained, there can be vast differences between ATP & MRP results.

The messages are divided into two parts - warning and information. Warning message indicates that the settings should be changed. However, information messages do not have any adverse effect on MRP/ATP results. All the messages are displayed per material. You can switch to the IMG (Transaction SPRO) or Material Master from the report to check/change the settings. The report also provides statistics for the total number of selected materials and number of materials valid for each warning/ information message.

• Check the stock requirement assignments.

This option provides an overview of all assignments where requirements have been assigned to different sizes stock. Stock types are fixed purchase requisitions, planned orders, production orders or purchase orders which are raised to material level. You can make adjustments to these stock elements well in advance. The report provides two options:

• Select the last MRP run data

• Select current MRP data
