/AFS/SDV03V02 - Rescheduling Sales and Stock Transfer Documents: by Material
Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component Structure General Material DataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Title
Advanced Rescheduling
Purpose
Run Rescheduling in parallel batch processes with restart-option and improved log.
Integration
This program replaces /AFS/SDV03V02. The general design of rescheduling has not changed.
Refer to the online help for basic information about rescheduling
Selection
- Material/Plant
- Select the range of materials that you want to reschedule
- Restart
-
If a rescheduling job stops, you can restart this program with the same parameters and with the restart
checkbox flagged. This will repeat the rescheduling only for those materials were not finished.
The TIMEfield in database table /AFS/SDV03V02 shows whether the material/plant combination was successfully processed (TIME > 0) or not yet started (TIME = 0).
- No. Jobs
- Enter the number of batch jobs you want to use. After the selection phase, which still runs sequentially, the system divides the selected materials into smaller packages. Each package is processed in a separate batch process. The batch processes run in parallel and are automatically distributed across the available application servers.
- These subprocesses have the package number as a suffix. With three jobs, transaction SM37 would show:
-
ZZV02V02_PARA,, Selection phase
ZZV03V02_PARA_01,,Rescheduling package 1
ZZV03V02_PARA_02,,Rescheduling package 2
ZZV03V02_PARA_03,,Rescheduling package 3
-
The spool list of each subprocess contains a summary of all errors that occurred. If there is no spool list, the subprocess ran without any problems.
- Start time
-
By default, the subprocesses start immediately after the selection phase. If you enter a specific time,
the subprocesses are delayed until that time. Since the selection phase does not have to be within the
quiet time, you can use this option to reduce the necessary time window for rescheduling. If the time
window for rescheduling is 1am to 3 am, you might start the selection at 10 pm the day before and delay the rescheduling until 1am.
- Automatically submit log sorted by Material/Customer
-
Flag these options if you want to have a global list of all changes. The system starts creating the
log automatically after all subprocesses have finished. There are two additional jobs in SM66 with a special suffix:
- ZZV03V02_PARA_LM,,Change log sorted by Material
-
ZZV03V02_PARA_LC,,Change log sorted by Customer
-
The spool list of these jobs contains a summary of all changes.
You can create a subset of this list with Report ZZV03V02_CHANGE_LOG. Enter the rescheduling interval and any additional selection criteria. If you run ZZV03V02_CHANGE_LOG in a dialog window, you can use all the ALV features (sorting, filter, subtotals) to make a detailed analysis.
- Selection via Requirements table:
- See the F1 help
- Consider ATP-rejected schedule lines:
- See F1 help. In addition to J0, you can define other rejection codes to be removed by Re-ATP and rescheduling. Use transaction /AFS/TVAG and select the checkbox for the /AFS/XATP field.
- Simulate:
- Only for performance and selection tests. This will do all the processing without updating the database. Internal calculations will not be correct. The system will not generate a change log.
- Log/Sizes
- This will create a log of selected order items. If you enter a range of grid values, this list will contain only those order items that contain one of the selected grid values. You can use this log for testing purposes.
- Sorting criteria:
-
See the F1 help and online documention.
