Purpose

You use this report to create a raw and an SAP structure. The structures are created on the basis of a Batch Input Recording. In addition, you can create an interface for a batch input session in the SAP Application Interface Framework.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

Please note that the system only allows you to monitor batch input sessions with one transaction. You cannot generate a structure for a batch input session with multiple transactions.

Selection

In the SAP Structure group box, you have the following selection options:

  • Batch Input Recording - specifies the name of the recording for which the structure is created.
  • Creator - specifies the name of the person who created the batch input recording.
  • SAP Data Structure - specifies the name of the generated structure.
  • Prefix Structure - specifies a prefix used before all the structures created

In the SAP Application Interface Framework group box you have the following selection options:

  • Namespace - defines the namespace in which the new batch input interface will be created. You need to use an existing namespace for this.
  • Interface Name - specifies the name of the new interface
  • Interface Version - specifies the version number of the new interface
  • Variant ID - defines the interface engines.

You can use the following 2 variants:

  1. You use the BDC standard runtime. With this variant, the SAP Application Interface Framework is only used as a monitoring scenario.
  2. You use the AIF enabler. In this case you can use various different functions of the SAP Application Interface Framework, for example, the Interface Monitor, Recipients and others.

In the Transport group box, you have the following selection options:

  • Package - specifies the package in which the objects are created. If you leave this field blank or enter $tmp, the objects are created locally.
  • Workbench Request - If you use a package, you also have to enter a workbench request. You can enter the workbench request here or later when creating the structure.
  • Customizing Request - If a Customizing request is provided, the generated interface will be added to the request.
  • RFC Destination: - In this field, you have to enter the RFC destination, if you are using a different client for Customizing.

Standard Variants
