/AIF/IDOC_LIST_GENERATOR - Mass IDoc Structure and Interface Generator

Purpose

You use this report for the mass generation of objects and Customizing entries based on a list of IDoc types.

This report provides the same basic functions and features as the AIF IDoc Structure and Interface Generator report.

Integration

If you execute the selection screen of the Mass IDoc Structure and Interface Generator report, the system calls the AIF IDoc Structure and Interface Generator report (transaction code /AIF/IDOC_GEN) in a second step.

Prerequisites

Before you can execute the Mass IDoc Structure and Interface Generator report, you have to maintain an IDoc Type Collection in Customizing for the SAP Application Interface Framework under Interface Development -> Additional Interface Properties -> Define IDoc Type Collection.

Features

Selection

You can enter an IDoc Type Collection on the selection screen. Based on your input, the corresponding IDoc types from the IDoc Type Collection are selected and displayed on the next screen.

Standard Variants

Output

Depending on the IDoc Type Collection, the IDoc type maintained in the Customizing activity Define IDoc Type Collection are displayed in a list.

In addition, some fields in this list are filled automatically, if they had been maintained accordingly in the Customizing activity Define IDoc Type Collection.

Once you have checked that all the fields are filled correctly, select the IDoc types that you want to generate. You do this by selecting the relevant lines in the list and then choosing Execute. On the selection screen that is then displayed, enter some generic data (for example, prefix for the structures to be generated, package, workbench request, and Customizing request).

After checking your entries, choose Enter. The selected rows are processed.

In this case, you trigger jobs to generate the IDoc structures and interfaces via the AIF IDoc Structure and Interface Generator report.

Activities

To access this report, enter transaction /AIF/IDOC_MASS_GEN.
