Purpose

The purpose of this transaction is to analyze the performance of the SAP Application Interface Framework. The user can create various tracking variants with which they can track the performance of specific interfaces, users, or time ranges in the SAP Application Interface Framework.

Selection

A variant is required for tracking purposes. You can select either a variant that already exists or create a new variant. If an existing variant is selected, its data is loaded into the fields on the screen.

If no variant has been created, default values are displayed on the screen and the variant is marked as unsaved. While creating a variant you can specify a message ID, namespace, interface name, interface version, and the name of the user starting the message. The minimum duration and the time range can also be inserted.

To begin the tracking, choose the Start Trackingpushbutton. To stop the tracking, choose the Stop Tracking pushbutton.

Standard Variants

Output

To display the results of the performance analysis, the Display Data pushbutton must be chosen. The results are then displayed in a menu tree in the bottom half of the screen. The gross, net, and average time is displayed and a counter shows the number of equal records. The data shows, for example, the time passed for mappings or actions within the SAP Application Interface Framework.
