/AIF/PERSX_WRI - Archiving of the AIF Persistence: Write Program

Purpose

You can use this program to control the writing process of archive files for the SAP Application Interface Framework.

Integration

AIF has been using the archiving object /AIF/PERSX.

/AIF/PERSX has been divided and is now obsolete.

Use the following objects instead:

• Archiving object /AIF/MESS

Archive AIF messages and all related data.

• Archiving object /AIF/FILE

Archive everything that is related to an AIF File from File Adapter.

• Report /AIF/DESTR_RUNTIME_OBJ

Destruction of Runtime Objects

• Report /AIF/DESTR_SNAPSHOT

Destruction of Snapshots

Prerequisites

Features

You can decide to archive each type of AIF data (data messages, XML persistence, data changes, and so on) separately or together in one run.

Selection

The selection screen adapts to what you select under Data for Archiving.

The parameter Residence Time in Days is the number of days a message has to remain in the persistence before it can be archived.

For more information about the other selection criteria, see the respective field help.

Standard Variants

Output

An ALV list report lists all archived objects and their number. If the archiving is running in background you can find the list in the respective job log.

Activities

We recommend that you schedule the archiving as periodic background jobs that run in off-peak hours.
