Purpose

The application log search allows identifying application logs based on messages and message contents.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

Object Criteria:

Enter the Log Object, Subobject or External ID that the logs you're searching belong to.

Administrative Criteria:

Select or enter date/time and user criteria based on the available options.

Message Criteria:

You may enter a message class and/or message number(s) that you want to search for.

Matching Criteria:

You can specify strings to be included or excluded within your search.

If you enter multiple strings these have to be both includes within the message.

Further down you can specify whether the string is only searched within the message variables or within the complete message text (Attention: full text scan might consume substantial runtime if many messages are determined based on the other criteria).

Standard Variants

Output

The report will list any found message and the related application log within a list. You can display the related application log by clicking the referenced application log number.

Activities

You can display the related application log by clicking the referenced application log number.
