Purpose

You can use this reconciliation report to compare the gross/net values that are calculated during the payroll run in HCM with the values posted in FS-CM.

You can use the report for regular and immediate payments, as well as for daily payroll. You can also use the report to check claimed external deductions.

Selection

On the selection screen, you can enter different selection parameters depending on whether you want to compare values using FS-CD or FS-CM selection parameters or HCM selection parameters. To do so, in the Scenario group box, choose one of the following scenarios:

  • Monthly Results
When you choose this scenario, the Human Capital Management group box appears and you can enter HCM data as selection parameters, such as the personnel number, the payroll area, period, or the payroll year.
  • Payments to Beneficiary
When you choose this scenario, the Collections and Disbursements and the Claims Management group boxes appear and you can enter business partners, document date of payment, or due date of net payment as selection parameters.

You can choose from the following output options on the selection screen:

  • Records posted both in HCM and in FS-CD
The report lists the data of those records that have the same amount calculated in HCM and posted in FS-CD.
  • Records not posted in FS-CD
The report lists the data of those amounts that are not posted in FS-CD.
  • Records differently posted in HCM and in FS-CD
The report lists the data of those records that have different amounts calculated in HCM and posted in FS-CD.

Standard Variants

Output

Based on your selection parameters, the report displays the results as follows:

  • In the upper table, the report displays each FI-CA document that belongs to the selected beneficiary. The first row is a summary of the total amounts (gross amount, tax deduction amount, net amount, and so on) that enables you to easily verify what was paid out and assumes that the gross amount in the upper and lower tables are the same.
  • In the lower table, the report displays the overview of disbursements and external deductions that are created for each claim or claims belonging to the beneficiary.

Each line contains many details for a document number. You can navigate away from the output screen to the details of the given field value by clicking the underlined values, such as the document number, insurance object, or the beneficiary.

When you click the value in the Gross Amount field in the upper table, the details of the relevant disbursements appear in the lower table.
