Description

This evaluation determines the number of days of presence for all selected cases, taking account of the absences in the selection period.

The program only selects cases that were admitted to a departmental organizational unit belonging to the category "Nursing Home" and that are assigned a social insurance fund in their insurance relationships.

Depending on the volume of data to be processed, this report can have a long runtime and should therefore be executed in background processing.

Selection

You must enter the institution and the evaluation period.

You can further restrict the cases to be evaluated in the Data Selection group box.

The following selection criteria are available on the selection screen.

• Institution (required entry field)

• Evaluation Period From (required field), To

The system enters the current date in this field. The evaluation period must be within a calendar year.

• Admitting Dept. OU

Departmental organizational unit assigned to the admission movement for the case.

• Cases to Be Evaluated

Case numbers for which the report is to be executed.

• Case Selection

Case numbers included in the case selection for which the report is to be executed.

• Cases Without Stats Block Only

This checkbox is selected by default. The program skips cases for which the Statistics Block indicator is selected.

• Summarized Results

If you select this option, the system cumulates the data by social insurance fund and patient.

• Results by Case

If you select this option, the system displays the data for each case.

Standard Variants

Output

The default list layout includes the following fields:

• Ins. Provider Name
  Name of assigned social insurance fund

• I (Insurer Type)
  Health insurer type of assigned social insurance fund

• Patient Name
  Patient first and last name

• Birthname
  Patient's Birth Name

• Birthdate
  Date of birth of patient

• Adm.Date(admission date)
  If you display the "Results by Case", the system displays the admission date of the case.
  If you choose to display the "Summarized Results", the system displays the admission date of the first case for the patient in the selection period.

• Dsch. Date (discharge date or date of death)
  If the discharge date is later than the date of death, the system displays the date of death.
  If you display the "Results by Case", the system displays the discharge date of the case.
  If you choose to display the "Summarized Results", the system displays the discharge date of the last case for the patient in the selection period.

• Abs. Start (absence start)
  If there are several absences for a patient in the selection period, the system displays the start date of the first absence in the selection period.

• Abs. End (absence end)
  If there are several absences for a patient in the selection period, the system displays the end date of the first absence in the selection period.

• AbsRsn (discharge/absence reason)
  If there are several absences for a patient in the selection period, the system displays the absence type of the first absence in the selection period.
  If the case has been discharged, the discharge type is displayed here. You can assign other values for the absence or discharge type in the mapping table TNCMAPP.

• Social Ins. No. (social insurance number)

• SC (check digit for social insurance number)

• Days Pres. (days of presence)
  Number of days covered by flat rate per case minus the absence days in the selection period

If you select "Results by Case" when executing the report, you can choose Change Layout to display the case number.
