Use

You can use this report to migrate the data from the Automated Notify on Activities part of the Define Change Request Type Customizing activity. This report runs automatically for all clients in your system when you have upgraded the Management of Change component from SAP S/4HANA 2020 to SAP S/4HANA 2021.

Prerequisites

Features

As of SAP S/4HANA 2021, the Automated Notify on Activities part of the Define Change Request Type Customizing activity is adapted by removing the Number column. For this reason, new database tables are introduced in SAP S/4HANA 2021, and this report is used to migrate the data from the old database tables to the new ones.

Selection

If you run the report manually, you can select the following options:

  • Client: You can specify the client in your system for which you want to run the report. Otherwise, the report processes the data in all clients in your system.
  • Run in Test Mode: If you select this option, the report does not change any data but displays a log of the performed steps.

Standard Variants

The standard system is delivered without variants.

Output

The log with the messages that are raised during the run of the report is displayed after the report completion. The data is migrated to the new database tables in SAP S/4HANA 2021 for the specified client.

Activities

The report runs automatically after an upgrade to SAP S/4HANA 2021. If the report terminates due to any technical issues, you can also start the report manually.
