Purpose

To access this report, use transaction /MRSS/RES_DET_MAINT. In this transaction you maintain details about resources, spare parts and the frozen period.

/Details of Resources tab

You can use the following resource types:

  • Internal or external time based resource
    You can assign a resource group and MRS work schedule to this resource.
  • Internal or external resource with a single slot per day
    You can assign a resource group and a validity period to this resource. In addition you can maintain the capacity for this resource by defining the time slot per weekday, an order limit and overbooking limit and a service area. You can also define a priority for the resource.
  • External service provider with multiple slots per day
    You can maintain multiple, overlapping slots for external service providers and assign a resource group, a validity period, the order limit and overbooking limit per slot and day and a service area.
    Note
    If you want to display the order limit, overbooking limit and the number of already assigned orders, you have to make the following Customizing settings. In the Cutomizing for SAP Multiresource Scheduling choose Define User Interface Profiles and unhide the resource fields Overbooking Limit, Consumed Capacity and Order Limit.

Frozen Period tab

You can define a period during which the resource cannot be assigned. the resource will not be available to work on the appointment.

Delivery Pattern of Spare Parts tab

You can define a distributor of spare parts and a delivery date (the earliest possible and the next possible) and the lead time.
