/MRSS/SGA_ALERTS_DELETE - Alerts deletion report

Purpose

You use this report to delete alert records and message data from the following database tables:

• /MRSS/D_USER_CON

This table contains information about confirmed alerts, for example, client, alert GUID, and user name.

• /MRSS/D_ALERTS

This table contains basic alert information, for example, client, alert GUID, message class, message type, and message number, as well as the validity period of the alert.

• /MRSS/D_COMPO

This table contains information about links between alerts and planning objects, for example, client, alert GUID, object type and GUID. For example, if a resource is not qualified to fulfill the assigned demand, the qualification alert is linked to the resource, the demand, and the assignment.

Selection

To run the report, you enter the date up to which you want the objects to be deleted as well as the user or users by whom the objects were generated.

In addition, you can restrict your selection by specifying the following:

• Objects that are to be deleted

You can specify whether you want to delete alert- or message-related data. Depending on your selection, you further specify the following:

• Alert type

• Message class and number

• Execution mode

Users can confirm or delete alerts and messages directly in the planning board. You have the following selection options:

• Delete only those alerts that were confirmed in the planning board

• Delete only those alerts that were deleted in the planning board

• Execute the report in simulation mode

Output

The system displays a list of the deleted objects as well as further details in the SAP List Viewer.
