Purpose

Role Mapping Program

Standard list of Baseline VIM Roles are provided here .

In Customer system non-standard roles may be used . So customer can maintain a mapping of VIM standard baseline roles versus their custom roles in case they want to make use of Custom roles in VIM Configurations during Upgrade

Note : Its not mandatory to do this activity . But incase you want your own roles to be considered for instead of VIM standard roles then you must provide this mapping during upgrade activity

Lets take an example

VIM Baseline gives a standard role like

Product Code Responsible Party Custom Role

Customer may not be using PO_AP_PROC or NPO_AP_PROC but they might be using AP_PROC for both the cases.

So Customer can provide the following mapping
