Purpose

You can use this report to migrate change items in engineering records from the case management-based XML storage to the engineering record database tables.

The report provides flexibility in that it provides a number of parameters for migration that allow you define exactly for which engineering records you want to migrate the related change items.

It also provides an additional setting for migration, which allows you to simulate a migration before running the real migration in the system.

Integration

Prerequisites

  • The authorization object PLM Authorizations for Eng. Record Change Item Migration (PLM_ECR_CI) must be assigned to your user.
