Purpose

You use this report to copy the configuration for Item type to Project Templates and Decision Points to Project Phases from one system to another. You can find these customizing activities in SAP Customizing Implementation Guide under SAP Portfolio and Project Management -> Portfolio Management -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Map Item Type to Project or PS.

Note: This report is applicable only for Project Management Templates (cProjects Templates).

Caution:
The Customizing changes in the target system are not logged using standard Customizing tools, such as a Customizing transport. They are recorded in the application log (transaction SLG1) for object RPM_INTEGRATION, sub-object COPY_CUST.

Integration

Prerequisites

In the target system, the following pre-requisites should be met:

  • You have created the necessary project templates and have set their status to Released.
  • You have defined the item types in Customizing by choosing SAP Portfolio and Project Management -> Portfolio Management -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Define Portfolio Item Types.
  • You have defined project types in Customizing by choosing SAP Portfolio and Project Management -> Project Management -> Structure -> Define Project Types.
  • In the source system, you have configured the RFC destination to the target system using transaction SM59. The destination system should be different from the source system.
Note: A source system is the one from which you execute the report.

Features

Selection

  • Test Mode
Select this option to execute a simulation run. You use this function to check whether errors occurred during the execution of the report.
  • Save Log in Destination System
Select this option to save the application log (transaction SLG1) also in the destination system. The application log will be saved only if the report is run in productive mode (Test Mode ' ').
  • Destination System
Enter the name of the RFC destination of the target system that you have configured in the source system. This is a mandatory field.
