Purpose

You use this report to migrate documents from SAP RPM 4.5 objects to SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0 objects. These objects include objects of the following types:

  • Portfolio
  • Bucket
  • Item
  • Decision Points for Item
  • Collection
  • Reviews

If you are an existing customer of SAP RPM 4.5 and you want to use Knowledge Provider (KPro) as the standard document management system, you have to run this report to migrate existing documents from Knowledge Management (KM) to KPro.

Integration

Prerequisites

  • You correctly set up the logical port to connect to the SAP RPM 4.5 portal, as follows:
In transaction SOAMANAGER, you have created a logical port with the name RPMKM for the consumer proxy class /RPM/CO_REPOSITORY_FRAMEWORK_W . To do this, choose Application and Scenario Communication -> Single Service Administration. In the Search By field, select Consumer Proxy, in the Search Pattern field, enter /RPM/CO_REPOSITORY_FRAMEWORK_W, and in the Fieldfield, select Internal Name. Choose Go. Select the entry found and choose Apply Selection. Choose Configurations. Choose Create Logical Port to create a logical port.

Note: Make sure that you use the authentication setting User ID / Password to log on to the SAP RPM 4.5 system with a user that has content administrator rights.
  • If SAP RPM 4.5 and SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0 are set up on different boxes, make sure that the migration of the SAP RPM 4.5 objects such as portfolio, item, decision point, collection, review, and bucket has been performed before you run this report.
