Purpose

This report enables you to migrate global roles from SAP xRPM 2.0 to role functions in SAP xRPM 4.0.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

If the SAP xRPM 2.0 global role ID is longer than 15 characters, it is truncated and entered in the SAP xRPM 4.0 role function key. In this case, a warning message is written in the log.

Duplicate role functions are skipped. This may occur due to the truncation of the global role key. In this case, an error message is written in the log.

Selection

Only Roles Without Children
If you select this option, only the lowest level global role is migrated. Parent global roles are not converted into role functions.

Overwrite Existing Entries
If you select this option, existing role functions are overwritten.

Standard Variants

Output

Based on your selection options, global roles from SAP xRPM 2.0 are migrated to role functions in SAP xRPM 4.0. To review the result, call transaction SM30 and enter table view V_DPR_ROLE_FUNC.
