/RPM/MIG_RESPOOL2ORG - Transfer Resource Pools to Organization

Purpose

You use this report to transfer resource pools to organizations. By doing this, you enable the staffing of resources in underlying Portfolio Management projects. This report reads the mapping in the manner you have defined in Customizing under SAP Portfolio and Project Management -> Portfolio Management -> Utilities -> Map Resource Pool to Organization Unit, and transfers the resources under the resource pool to the organization.

If you have specified resource pools other than those mentioned in the mapping, the report considers this and creates new organizations and populates the mapping entries in the Customizing activity with these new organizations.

Selection

• Resource Pool Selection

• Resource Pool ID: Enter the resource pool for which the resource is to be transferred to the organization. The resources can be transferred to an existing organization or the system can create a new organization during the transfer process. If you want to transfer the resources to an existing organization, then you have to maintain the mapping in Customizing, by choosing Map Resource Pool to Organization Unit.

• General Options

• Test Mode: If you do not set the indicator, the report runs on simulation mode and checks if there are any errors.

• Remove Resource During Synch.: If there are additional resources in the organization apart from the resource pools, the system removes these additional resources.
