Purpose

You can use this report to lock CIF inbound queues in an SAP system that is connected by RFC to the SAP system in which this program is executed. This enables you to prevent data being adopted in the target system if there are conflicts between the automatic transfer of changes using the CIF interface and planning in the target system, which leads to orders being excluded from the planning run.

Integration

After the planning runs have ended, you can unlock the locked queues by using report /SAPAPO/CIF_QIN_STARTQUEUES.

Prerequisites

The data is transferred to the target system using inbound queues.

Features

Standard Variants

Output

Activities

Schedule the entire run of locking, executing planning, and unlocking as a background job.

Example

You want to temporarily stock the transfer of specific transaction data or all transaction data to the target system to prevent conflicts with planning that is running in SAP APO. Select the relevant queues as follows:

CFSTK* (stock)

CFSLS* (sales orders and deliveries)

CFPO* (purchase requisitions and purchase orders)

CFPLO* (planned and production orders)

Changes to master data continue to be transferred.

Note that when inbound queues are locked, data is not transferred to the target system for the locked queues, independently of the source system.
