Description

This report is used for converting planned orders into production orders in background processing. You can choose to log processing either in a conversion log that contains all information messages or in an error log that only contains the planned orders that could not be converted and therefore have error messages. The planned orders that could not be converted are also summarized in a batch input session and can be reprocessed using the batch input tools. You can create an error session for each MRP controller.

When an error session is created, the recipient can be notified via workflow. You specify the recipient as a parameter. Note that event linkage is activated in the standard task TS00408210 for the triggering event. If an error session is created for each MRP controller, the recipient stored in the MRP controller's master record is notified. If no recipient is specified there, the recipient specified as a parameter in the program is notified.

You can carry out the selection in a test run. In this case, only the planned orders selected for conversion are output. This report can also be used for products that are relevant to advanced planning.

Parameters:

  • Test Run: Converts the orders in test mode. Only the planned orders selected for conversion are output in the log.
  • Production Order Type: Key required for creating a production order (compare transaction CO40).
  • Only Error Log: Only logs the planned orders that could not be converted and therefore have error messages.
  • Error Session per MRP Controller: Creates an error session for each MRP controller.
  • Keep Session After Viewing: If this indicator is set, the error session is not deleted after it has been run in batch input.
  • Error Session Created By: Person (user) who created the error session and whose name is entered in it.
  • Send Mail: Sends an e-mail to the appropriate MRP controller when a batch input session is created. If the 'Error Session per MRP Contr.' indicator is not set, the e-mail is sent to the 'Recipient (Alternative)'.
  • Express Document: Sends the e-mail as an express document.
  • Recipient (Alternative): The person who receives the e-mail if no recipient has been specified in the master record of the responsible MRP controller.

Selection Criteria for Planned Orders

  • Opening Date - Days Before/After: Interval in calendar days before and/or after the system date. The system selects the orders whose opening dates fall within this interval. The interval is only taken into account if the following parameter is also set:
  • Select Opening Date

Output

  • Conversion Log/Error Log
  • Batch input session with planned orders that could not be converted.
  • Mail
