Purpose

This report creates test orders for the Post Processing Office (PPO).

Integration

Prerequisites

  • PPO component and business process that you enter in the selection screen must be customized in the system.
  • The main object type and base object type that you enter must be customized in the system.

Features

Selection

  • Parameter "Create Mass Run Protocol": if this parameter is set, then the report creates one a protocol for all the PPO orders. This protocol is accessible via button @DH@.
Additionally, it assigns an own protocol to the messages of the PPO order message log. The icon @16@ visualizes the available protocol for the messages.
  • Parameter "Mass Commit": if this parameter is set, then the report saves and commits the PPO orders within the same logical unit of work (LUW).
If for example alerting has been customized for the chosen PPO component and process, then only one notification email will be sent. Whereas, if this parameter is not set, then the each order is saved and committed in an own LUW and an own notification email is sent out for each PPO order.

Standard Variants

  • Default component TESTPPO and business process TESTPPO are usually available but you can also enter any other available component and business process.
  • Default main object type TESTPPO and base object type TESTPPO1 are usually available but you can also enter any object type.

Output

The report provides the GUIDS of the PPO orders that were created. You can double-click one of the GUID's and the system starts up the PPO desktop.
