Purpose

You can use this program for the initial load and the synchronization of the visibility buffer based on order document management (ODM).

The ODM-based visibility buffer accelerates the determination of visible location-product combinations for the supported order document types, for example, advanced shipping notifications or purchase orders.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have activated the SCM-SNC Performance Optimizationsbusiness function.

You have specified the order document types for which the buffer is used. For more information, see Customizing under Supply Network Collaboration -> Basic Settings -> Visibility -> Select Order Document Types for ODM-Based Visibility Buffer.

Features

After the buffer has been switched on for the specified order document types, it is blank until the initial load has been carried out by executing this report.

The system keeps the buffer in line with ODM in a way that it only lists newly added and modified orders automatically. However, if a document is deleted in ODM, it is not mirrored in the buffer automatically. As a consequence, some location-product combinations might not be present in the ODM anymore, but they still appear in value helps that use the buffer. To avoid this, you should schedule the synchronization report to run on a daily or weekly basis, depending on how important it is to avoid that a location-product combination which has been deleted in ODM appears in a value help using the buffer.

Selection

You can specify the following selection criteria:

  • Order document type
  • Supplier
  • Customer

Standard Variants

Output
