Purpose

Use this App to assign a business partner of type organization to a company code.

The business partner represents the company as legal entity in business processes of Transportation Management.

Integration

Prerequisites

A business partner can be assigned to a company code if it meets the following criteria:

• It is a business partner of type Organization

• It is not already assigned to another Company Code

• It has at least the same validity as the Company Code

Example

The business partner assignment to a company code is used by the system in the following processes:

• Determination of a consignee in a transportation inbound process

• Determination of a shipper in a transportation outbound process
