Purpose

With this report you can rebuild the end-of-business data used for the end-of-purpose (EoP) check. This allows you to perfom the EoP check on your business partner data.

Integration

This report re-creates entries in shadow table /SCMTMS/D_EOB_BP which stores the information about the start-of-retention time (SoRT) for a business partner. The SoRT will be calculated for all related business partners or business objects according to the input specified in the selection criteria.

The system overwrites any entries already in table /SCMTMS/D_EOB_BP.

Prerequisites

You have activated switch BUPA_ILM_SWITCH. (The technical basis for data destruction is the NetWeaver component for Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).)

You have the necessary authorization for authorization object 'S_RFC'. This is necessary in case the report is executed in a parallel mode.

Features

You can calculate new SoRT data for business partner and business objects.

Choose from the following selection criteria:

Selection

  • Business Partner Selection
The system recalculates SoRT for the specified business partners.
  • Business Object-Specific Selection
The system recalculates SoRT based on the documents of the specified business objects according to the specified business partners.

You can run this report in parallel mode. For parallel mode, you can use the following selection criteria:

  • Max. No. of Work Proc. used
Specifies the maximum number of work processes that can be processed concurrently.
Note: The actual number of free available work processes could be smaller than the maximum number of work processes. In order to prevent denial of service, the program internally ensures that at least two work processes remain available in such a case. That means the maximum number of work processes used will be the number of free available work processes minus two
  • Max. No. of documents per WP
Since the calculation of SoRT is based on business documents, this parameter allows you to control how many documents a work process (WP) processes for a business object.

Standard Variants

Output
