/SCWM/PI_SAMP_UPDATE_RESULT - PI Sampling Interface - Download Results and Update Stock Population
General Data in Customer Master CPI1466 during BackupThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
You use this report for the following purposes:
- To download the counting results from the physical inventory documents created for the sample with the report /SCWM/PI_SAMP_DOC_CREATE
- To download the current stock population for a specific PI sample ID from the EWM system
This is the third step of the sample-based physical inventory in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
Integration
Prerequisites
- In order to download the counting results, you must have counted the physical inventory documents created with the report /SCWM/PI_SAMP_DOC_CREATE and posted the differences in EWM.
- In order to download the current stock population you must already have downloaded this stock population with report /SCWM/PI_SAMP_STOCK_POP under the given PI sample ID.
Features
The report determines the physical Inventory counting results from the PI documents and determines the current stock population within the EWM system before downloading this data as a CSV data file to a PC or server, so that it can be used by a third party system.
Selection
Enter a valid PI sample ID and choose PI Documents or Requested Stock Population.
Standard Variants
Output
The report downloads this data as a CSV or XLS data file to a PC or as a CSV data file to a server, so that it can be used by a third-party system for sample-based physical inventory.
For download to a server the logical file name EWM_PI_SAMP_UPDATE is used. For more information, see Customizing activity Cross-Client Maintenance of File Names and Paths.
The structure of the downloaded data is given by DDIC structure /SCWM/S_DOWNLOAD_STOCK_POP. The Quantity Entered in Physical Inventory field (COUNT_QUAN) will be filled with the count result if PI Documents was selected.
The report produces only one line for stock in a bin that has the same stock attributes. This can happen if there are multiple HUs with the same stock in a bin. As the HU information is not downloaded, the quantities of the stock are accumulated. If there are different alternative UoMs for stock with the same attributes in one bin, the quantity is only returned in the base UoM.
