Purpose

You can use this report to copy condition records for destination bin determination upon warehouse task creation for transit handling units (HUs) or HU containers in transit warehousing.
You can download existing condition records for a specific warehouse as a CSV file. You can modify the downloaded file according to your needs and upload the condition records into another warehouse. You can copy the condition records into multiple systems.

Integration

The setup of the destination bin determination used during warehouse task creation in transit warehousing is based on condition records for application TWP and usage TW.

Prerequisites

You have maintained condition records using transaction Maintain Conditions.

If you start the report the first time and you have not yet used transaction Maintain Conditions, the system aborts the report. In this case, start transaction Maintain Conditions a single time.

Features

Selection

To download existing condition records, enter the warehouse number and a valid-on date. Then choose Select Conditions.

To upload condition records from a CSV file, enter the warehouse number to which you want to upload the data and a valid-on date. Then choose Upload Conditions.

Standard Variants

Output

When you choose Select Conditions, the system displays the existing condition records for the selected warehouse and validity period.
When you choose Upload Conditions, you can choose a local CSV file to upload. The system displays the uploaded data.

Activities

If you have selected existing condition records, you can download them using the Download Conditions button.

If you have uploaded a CSV file, you can use the Check Data button to check the data from the file, or choose Save to create the condition records in your system. If condition records already exist within the given validity period, you cannot save the new condition records, and the system displays a message. In this case, you have to delete or adjust the existing condition records first, using transaction Maintain Conditions.

Example

You have maintained condition records for the destination bin determination for transit HUs and HU containers for warehouse WH01.

You want to maintain the same condition records for warehouse WH02. You proceed as follows:

  1. Download the existing condition records for warehouse WH01, as follows:
    1. In the Warehouse Number field, enter WH01.
    2. In the Valid On field, enter the date of the existing condition records.
    3. Choose Select Conditions.
    4. Choose Download Conditions and save the local file.
  2. In the local file, change the warehouse number in column TWP_LGNUM to WH02.
  3. Upload the file for warehouse WH02, as follows:
    1. In the Warehouse Number field, enter WH02.
    2. Enter the valid-on period of the condition records you want to create. If you leave the To field empty, the end validity of the created condition records will be December 31, 9999.
    3. Choose Upload Conditions and select the local file.
Note that the system uploads only those entries where the TWP_LGNUM column is equal to WH02.
  1. Choose Save.
The system checks the uploaded data. If any of the checks result in errors, the system does not save the data. You need to correct the data in the CSV file or in your system first, for example, if a storage type does not yet exist in the warehouse where you want to create the condition records.
The system also checks if there are existing condition records in the warehouse that overlap with the one you want to create. In this case, you need to adjust the validity of the existing records or choose a different valid-on period.
