Purpose

You use this report to delete the reference document numbers for special reference stock in the corresponding database tables that are mapped for work-in-process (WIP) numbers from a manufacturing execution system (MES) that no longer exist because of, for example, manual deletion. As there is no need to keep these WIP stock reference document numbers, you can improve the system performance by deleting unnecessary entries.

Integration

Prerequisites

To use this report, you need authorization to delete WIP stock reference document numbers.

Features

You can run this report in test mode or productive mode. In test mode, the report calculates the number of WIP stock reference document entries to be deleted. When you use the program in productive mode, the report permanently deletes the unnecessary entries in the given warehouse number.

Before deleting the WIP stock reference document numbers, make sure that the numbers aren't used by the following objects:

• Inbound deliveries that have been archived and deleted

• Staging requests that have been archived and deleted

• Warehouse tasks that have been archived and deleted

• WIP stock that doesn't exist in the warehouse anymore
