Purpose

Part of content restructurings of type "Reference Change" is to maintain the metadata in transaction /SMB/CR_METADATA. This report supports this step by filling the metadata automatically.

Integration

Prerequisites

Before using the report, you need to create a header with type "Reference Change" in transaction /SMB/CR_METADATA.

Features

Selection

"Content Restructuring ID": Refers to the "Header"-section in transaction /SMB/CR_METADATA. Please choose a content restructuring id of type "Reference Change". Additionally, it must not have any line items in dialog "Reference Change".

"RFC Destination": Connect to the system where the reference changes took place. Leave empty for "local".

"Testrun": If the checkbox is checked, the results are shown in an ALV grid but not written to the database.

"Date/Time": The latest version before this point of time is used to be compared with the active version.

Standard Variants

Output

Results are shown in an ALV grid. If testrun was not checked in the selections, then the results are stored in the database and available in transaction /SMB/CR_METADATA.

Please be aware that there is no consistency check for the data. This must be done in transaction /SMB/CR_METADATA manually.

Activities

For every object of type SOBJ, ECATT or BCSET the following is done:

,,1.) Find the latest version before the point of time given in the selections.

2.) If a parameter of this latest version has a TDC-reference and the active version has a different reference or no reference, then this object needs to be added to the output list.

,,Newly introduced TDC-references will not be part the output list.
